Acupuncture
is the insertion of very fine needles into therapeutic points
along the body. These needles serve to stimulate the body's own
natural healing ability to correct imbalances and restore it to
a healthy equilbrium.
The origin
of acupuncture in Chinese Medicine dates back thousands of years
and in recent decades, United States has witnessed a growing popularity
of acupuncture in healthcare.
While much of the recent media attention on acupuncture has been
on its efficacy in treating pain, stress / anxiety, smoking
cessation, acupuncture can also address many other health conditions.
